BREAD & BUTTER

After 10 years in operation, the fair of the street fashion has become an essential event for brands, buyers and press. The whole fashion world is there, and this time is celebrated in the historical Tempelhof Airport  of Berlin, right in the center of the city.

In this new edition, about 600 exhibitors meet with some really creative stands. Moreover, aside from fashion, the fair also carry out all kinds of cultural and musical activities. It is an unique fair that has settled at the top of urban fashion, and the best designers of the fashion industry attend the event, which this year takes place from 18th to 20^th of January.

The fair started in Cologne (Germany) on the 13^th of July of 2001, with the idea of becoming an event parallel to the Man Fashion Week. It is held every half year, in January and July. After three years in the German city, the organizers decided his move to Berlin. This meant that, in just three editions, the number of exhibitors spent from 50 to 230, and from 5,000 to 15,000. In June 2005, it landed in Barcelona, where it had 45,000 visitors from up to 95 different countries. From July 2007 until January 2009, Bread & Butter took place exclusively in Barcelona until July 2009 when the fair returned to Berlin, and since then it is celebrated only in the German capital.

Bread & Butter includes all kind of brands and designers from the areas of Denim, Sportswear, Street Fashion, Function Wear and Casual Dressed Up. The list of participating brands is extensive. As we have already reported, up to 600 exhibitors are present at the event.
